We met Drake and Dana in Arkadelphia one night and looked at the lights. If you haven't been to Iron Mountain and looked at the Christmas lights, next year you must. For some reason I did not take the best picture in the world!
We have looked at the lights before, but this year was the first year for us to go down to the houseboats and walk around. It was so neat. Look at the path.
We open presents on Christmas Eve with Nick's Family. Everyone had a great time watching the kids. They were so much fun this year.
After opening presents and eating Aunt Jeanne and Aunt Annabeth helped the girls make some cookies for Santa. So much fun! I had already made the dough, thank goodness because we got started a bit late! They cut out cookies, baked and decorated them.
Santa only brings a few toys and some stuff in the stocking. All of his presents are put together, out of the box and the wrapped presents are from MOM and DAD.
Opening up presents was so fast, I did not get too many photos.
I did get Lily to stop long enough to turn and smile for me.
Santa brought some stuff to make snow since we usually don't have any on Christmas. It is really neat stuff. We only made up two teaspoons and had plenty to play in. Emma love it!
While on the other hand, she threw it in Lily's face and she wasn't too happy! They had so much fun with the snow. We will have to make some more! At one point, Lily even laid down on the porch and tried to make snow angels!!
We enjoyed the holidays and are so thankful for all we have been blessed.
