WOOOOO PIG!

We had a few people over for the Razorback game on Saturday and this was Lily. The last ballgame, I painted a small hog on one cheek and Go Hogs on the other. She had different plans this time. She wanted her entire face to look like a HOG!! This was the best that I could do...

Lazy Lake Afternoon

This is Traveling Frog and his friends. Lily had to take TF home with her for the weekend and he did everything that she did. Lily said that he had a party on the boat while she fished and his cake and drinks were in the bag. She was too cute about the TRAVELING FROG. So we did go to the lake on Sunday afternoon. Lily wasn't feeling the best but she went to the lake and had a good time. She caught a fish.

Emma caught a fish too!
Emma enjoyed fishing and playing in the lake. She was super excited to catch a fish and rub it in to Win that she caught one at Family Farm this summer too!

Win loves to explore on the islands at the lake. This
was the second time that we have actually built a fire. He loves it!
It is also nice because it takes time to gather the rocks and start the fire and then gather stuff for the fire and then it takes time to put out the fire with water from the lake. It keeps him busy and gives him something to do! He wasn't happy that his sisters caught fish and that he did not, so the fire was a much welcomed distraction for Win!!!!

You can't tell that she did not feel the best. She loves to pose and put on shows for everyone.
It was a perfect afternoon at the lake. We stayed way too late, but to my surprise everyone got up this morning and were ready to head to school. It was actually a easy going morning at our house and that is rare these days. On a typical day someone is usually cranky and not wanting to do some part of the morning routine. I guess that everyone was tired that they rested well and woke up refreshed. I know that the lake helped my spirits. It was truly the best weather that we have had all summer at the lake!
I could not leave off this photo. Since we were fishing with hot dogs and built a fire, we let the kids roast the hot dogs and eat them. Emma said we were having HOBO dinner even though we drove through McDonalds on the way home! I hate that I did not bring all of the set ups for hot dogs, I just wasn't planning on staying that late. Once again, it was a great day at the lake and looking at the weather forcast, perhaps our last lake trip of the summer.

Go Hornets!

GO HORNETS!
Emma really wanted to do a little CHEER CLINIC that they Bryant High school cheerleaders hold each year. They meet with the little kids one afternoon after school and teach them a couple of chants and then the little girls perform before the ballgame that same week. Emma was so cute and so excited about going to the clinic and cheering on the football field. I had several more pictures, but for some reason I messed up the memory card and it was not recording them. Thank goodness that I discovered it, just in time to take pictures while she was on the field. I guess this is our first taste of FRIDAY nights to come! OH MY!
She was loving it!

Strike a Pose!

Lily started dance class yesterday. She has been so excited to do dance. Emma did not want to do dance and even when she did, I don't think she was ever this excited! Lily had to pose for me before class. She was so cute getting ready. We had to do dancer hair and blush and some lipstick of course. You would have thought that we were going to a recital. I am happy for her to be so interested in dance. I love to dance! Emma and Win have been taking Karate two days a week as well so, we are in full swing fall schedule. I will have to make it a point to take their pictures. We are usually rushing to get them to class after school and I don't stop for pictures.

Spelling Words!

Sometimes homework needs to be fun!
To practice writing our spelling words today we used shaving cream. It was fun and so much better than pencil and paper, but now I have a feeling we will be wanting to do it every week! I bougt a new camera lens today and was trying it out. I like it so far. I also bought a DVD that tells all about my camera in hopes of learning more. YEAH right like I will have the spare time to do that, but I am going to try. Lily had to practice too!
I don't know why I thought that we needed this much!!!! Next time our piles will be much smaller!!!! Much, Much SMALLER!

Lily's First Day!

Yesterday was Lily's first day at Preschool. She was so excited! This year she is in small class with about 6 other kids and only one is new. It should be a great year for her. Here she is with her friend Andrew. He also lives down the street from us. They are so funny together. I just hope she will be this excited next year.

Open House for Lily

On Wednesday was Lily's open house at Preschool. She has been so excited and not so patiently waiting. It was hard for her to understand why Win and Emma were going to school and she was staying at home. This is her fourth year to attend the same school. It is at our church and it continues to get better and better. Her teacher is Mrs. Carla. She taught Win and Emma for Pre-K. Lily was so excited to attend open house and check Mrs. Carla's room out. I have been painting murals upstairs in a Sunday school room and Lily has been coming with me. She would ask each day if she was going to be in Mrs. Carla's room. Tuesday can not come soon enough for Lily!
I love this picture!
