SPRING SOCCER

Saturday, March 28, 2009
Today was our first spring soccer game. This fall Win played, but Emma did not want to...so this spring she has decided that she too will play. WHAT a way to start the season. It was only 39 Degrees and misting rain at times!!!! Practice was canceled last night, but I guess the games must go on!Here are my little players in between their turns.
Of course, Lily could not miss out on the action. I tried to just stay at home with her, but that was not an option.

Emma is #1.
Win is #4
WHAT A GAME!

Fairy Princess Party

Monday, February 23, 2009
Emma went to a birthday party at Pink Bliss. It was the first of this type party she has attended. The party was so cute and right up her alley. All the girls enjoyed dressing up and dancing and putting on make-up.
My daddy always teases me that I am paying for my raising and that Emma is just like me. Tonight I saw that for sure!! She sang and danced!

It was all smiles!

My "Fairy Princess"

Emma just loved the mirror!

Valentine's Day 2009

Instead of celebrating Valentine's Day with a romantic dinner for two, we went to a Valentine's Day party at a friends house. It was fun! This is before we left for the evening. Nick's parents came out and stayed with the kids.

The park

Here are just a few pictures that I took at the park while we were in Hope. I have been trying to take tons on pictures in hopes of catching some cute candid shots. I laugh at this one of Win. We lost his sucker after sliding on the slide, found it on the ground, licked it and went on about his business.

I just had to get a picture by this little elephant slide. I remember it from when I was little. I think that they have just painted it several times over!!!

Safety Town...

Saturday, February 7, 2009
While we were in Hope we participated in a "Safety Town". Different people from the community were there to explain safety issues with the kids. The firetruck, ambulance and even a tractor was there. All of the kids had their picture made and placed on a CD with their height, weight, eye and hair color. That was worth the trip for me! They learned about car safety, firework safety, pool safety, food safety, farm safety.... all sorts of good stuff. I was excited because it just so happened to tie into their preschool activities for the month. They were excited because we left with a ton of goodies.....coloring books, stickers, pencils, candy, whistles.....

Mini-Horses

This weekend we went to Hope. We went by the park and got to ride on Lacey Jo's miniature horse. It was the perfect size. I REALLY wish that we could buy one. We might just have to buy one for Big Daddy's house!

Happy Birthday Lily!!!!

This year we decided not to do a big party for Lily's birthday. So, her actual birthday was Tuesday, February 3rd........but we celebrated on Monday night with Nandy and J-Pop. We had pizza and DORA cake. Lily loves Dora. I love this picture. We had to light the candles twice because Win blew them out the first time. And look at her outfit. She loves to change clothes. For some odd reason, she really loves this particular outfit and calls it her "big baby costume". Lily has quite the little personality.
We got her a bicycle and Nandy and J-Pop got her the helmet and basket and necklace and bracelet. She was really excited. And I am so proud of Emma for not telling. Emma went with me to buy the bicycle!!! I wish that I had a picture of that...she rode the bicycle to the check-out stand at Wal-Mart. It was so cute!

Here is my baby. All grown up on her actual birthday getting ready for a day at school. I can't believe that she is already 3. It seems like yesterday , I found out I was having her!!!! I guess the shock has yet to wear off, three years later.......HA, HA!

Saturday, January 31, 2009

We went bowling Saturday afternoon. I haven't been bowling in a long time. The kids really enjoyed it. Win is extremely competitive. I don't know where he gets this because Nick and I are not. Win always wants to know who is winning.
It was all Emma could do to pick up the ball and get it to the lane. I think that she enjoyed playing more than anyone.

Friday, January 30, 2009

On Friday, I decided to try to take some pictures down by the lake with the kids. It was kind of cool, but they enjoyed it. Emma really got a kick out of making the geese fly away! What a crew!
Here is one of my favorite pictures we took. If you will notice Win's fingers, he is pinching Emma! That is so the story of my life lately. Someone is always irritating someone else. I was surprised that he even let the girls hug him.
