Valentines and Parties!

This last week was pretty wild week for us and it did not help that we got off schedule with all of the snow and winter weather. On Thursday, Lily had her Valentine Party. She was all about the icing as usual! Look at her just licking those lips!! Then on Friday, Win and Emma had their Valentine Parties at school. We had decorated boxes and addressed Valentines and we were ready to go. I wish that I would have taken better pictures of the parties. Both classes made ice cream with all the toppings.
Emma was a hoot! I do not think the child can stop talking! Win sat quietly as usual and spoke to the two cute little girls at his table.

On Saturday, they all attended a birthday party at a ATA. They were so excited and into the party. Let's just hope we don't practice on anyone at home!

Lily hung right in there with all of the bigger kids!

With everything going on lately, we needed a break! So Saturday night we went out to a Mardi Gras Party. It was so much fun! It was nice getting to visit with all the "grown-ups". I did order us a King Cake from New Orleans and will have it to celebrate with the kids on Tuesday.

While all of this was going on I have had little time to do anything but keep up with the kids and errands and housework. BUT.........I did manage to sneak out to the garage and paint a bit more this week. I have a few paintings that I am finishing up and one that is a major work in progress! Check out the other blog!!!

SNOW DAY!!!

Our Snow Day!
I don't remember seeing so much snow in central Arkansas in a very long time. It has snowed almost non stop until around 1 or 2 this afternoon. Now it is a steady rain with more snow predicted. The entire family got out and played in the snow with the neighbors and had a great time. At first we had a snowman, then Win knocked it down and he wanted to build a fort. I think it ended up looking like some just big pile of snow! None the less, it was fun and made us want to take the kids snow skiing!! I think we are ready.
Nick helping Win with his snow fort.
Can you see Win?
We had fun throwing snowballs, sledding and building snowmen with friends around our block.
I did not take a ton of pictures because it was snowing so hard and my camera was getting wet.

LILY's BIRTHDAY 2-3-10

My pictures are all scrambled up, but we have had several days of celebration for Lily's 4th birthday. It began on her actual birthday, Wednesday. We went out to eat and had a small cake and opened a few presents with Nandy and J-Pop. Then on Thursday, she had a party at school. We brought goodie bags for everyone and juice, mini-cupcakes, ice cream cups and mini cookie sandwiches (mommy's favorite). I also read Lily's favorite book to the class. It is "The Three Little Pigs." It was a good time. Then on Saturday, we celebreated with friends and family at our house with painting pottery and crafts. It was a wild and good time.
Painting some pottery. The cake was mmmmmmm mmmmmmm good.

So many gifts from her wonderful friends.

The sweet treats.
