This weekend we went to Hope to visit with Mom and Dad. On Friday, Daddy had is final scans and was told that he was CANCER FREE! What a great feeling. It has been a very long year of traveling, treatments, medicines, doctors and tests. I can not imagine! But we are thankful that the scans came back and he got a great report. Mom had a little surprise planned and gathered up several of his friends. They came from several different places and all met in Nashville at a restaurant. I was expecting around 25 people at the most and well ended up having twice that! It was a great occasion to celebrate! The cake said it all.
